Collections
Short, curated paths through Idle & Awake, one theme at a time.
Our four sites are organised by format: essays on Essays, answers on the Blog, calculators on Tools and clocks on Time. That is tidy, but it is not how questions arrive. A question about debt might need an essay to explain the choice, an answer to settle a definition and a calculator to try your own numbers. Collections cross those lines.
Each collection gathers five to seven items on one theme, puts them in an order that builds, and adds a few sentences on why each item is there and how to use it. Those notes are written for these pages and do not repeat the pieces they point to. If you are new here, the Start here guide explains the four sites first.
